Strawberries with Dark Balsamic
This is a unique way to serve this fantastic summer fruit! The balsamic vinegar brings out the beautiful color of the berries and truly enhances their flavor.
  • 16 ounces fresh strawberries hulled and large berries cut in half
  • 2 Tbsp . Tastealotta Traditional Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste optional
  1. Place strawberries in a bowl.
  2. Drizzle vinegar over strawberries, and sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover, and let sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour but not more than 4 hours.
  5. If using, just before serving, grind pepper over berries.
Recipe Notes

For a different twist on this recipe, substitute the Tastealotta Traditional Balsamic with Tastealotta Italian Strawberry Balsamic or Tastealotta Dark Chocolate Balsamic.
