Breakfast is how we start our day and it is probably one of the most important meals to make sure you fuel your body and are ready for the day. Many quick breakfasts aren’t nutritious for your body, but we want to offer some great recipe ideas that are not only yummy but quick and easy to make to get your day off to a good start. We will start with breakfast and then take you through the day with more inspiring recipe ideas using Tastealotta olive oils.

Olive oil makes such a healthy addition to breakfast and all meals, packing a lot of nutrients even in a couple of teaspoons. I write recipes many times for our blog, but that usually limits us to share two recipes. We like ours with rolled oats, pistachios, walnuts, sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, olive oil, vanilla extract, brown sugar, cinnamon, dried cranberries or blueberries, and chopped Medjool dates. This combination of ingredients blends so well and is also high in protein while storing well in an air-tight container.

We have shared a lot of recipes over the years using olive oil in your baking recipes and we also shared about substituting olive oil for butter in most recipes and making them healthier. So today we offer a few quick ideas for baked goods and great breakfast ideas that can make your baked goods and what you eat for breakfast more nutritious:

  • Try adding olive oil to your next batch of waffles. If you use a waffle mix, try adding eggs, milk, and protein powder to your usual waffle batch for a high-protein morning treat.
